Learn how to request your official government-issued Fayda Physical Card, who can apply, and what to expect during the ordering process.
The Official Fayda Physical Card is the government-issued version of Ethiopia's National Digital ID. It provides a secure and durable physical credential that residents can carry and present whenever identification is required.
Unlike a self-printed paper copy of an eFayda document, the official physical card is produced through authorized printing providers under the National ID Program (NIDP). Residents who have completed their Fayda registration may request a physical card when the service is available. The National ID Program currently supports official card printing through authorized providers such as Ethiopost and Ethio Telecom.
